"The farm was founded by the great commitment and job of mom and dad, who immediately after the wedding, in 1961, decided to live in Costa Bacelega, this small village in the Valle Arroscia, beginning to cultivate
the lands owned by the family almost entirely with olive trees. In 1978 the works are completed in the new barn, meanwhile Giovanni and Gina become parents of us, three daughters: Angela, Sandra and Marisa.

From an early age we helped our parents in the fields and in the care of the cattle, then dad decided to buy a ruin adjacent to the farm and started the renovation work. In those years in our area they were starting talking about Agriturismo (farmhouse), so we decided to create this new business, complementary to the farm in order not only to increase our production, but also to improve the territory and enable us to not to leave our family and our village, with the idea to introduce our activities to our guests and let them experience the country life.
The dream of the farmhouse was taken as a challenge by Dad and Marisa, who quarrel, disagree, organize, and finally, in 1998 LA FATTORIA was opened!
Angela and I, in the meantime we both become mothers, we began with a fraternal spirit to help, also involving our children and families in this project, and now we all call it "our farmhouse."
